Who we are

These terms are an agreement between you and [Company legal name], a company registered in [jurisdiction] at [registered address] (“we”, “us”). They cover achat.ai on the web, in the iPhone and Android apps, and in the emails we send you. How we handle your information is described in our privacy policy.

If you use achat.ai on behalf of an organisation, you agree to these terms for it as well, and you confirm you are allowed to.

Your account

You need to be [minimum age] or older to create an account. You sign in with a code we email you or with your Google account. One account is for one person: keep your sign-in to yourself, and you are responsible for what happens under your account until you tell us it has been compromised.

Plans and billing

Using the service requires a plan. You can start with a 7-day trial, or choose Basic or Pro straight away; their prices are shown on the plans page before you pay. A plan is billed monthly, every 3 months or every 6 months, as you choose, and it renews at the end of each period until you cancel.

The trial

  • The trial costs $1.99 and lasts 7 days. It includes our fast models, web search, files and projects. It does not include premium models, images, videos or voice, and its file limits are smaller.
  • Unless you cancel before it ends, it becomes Basic at the cadence you chose — $29.99/month, $59.97 every 3 months or $89.94 every 6 months — and renews until you cancel.
  • There is one trial per account and one per payment card. A card that has already paid for a trial cannot start another, even on a different account.
  • If you start your plan before the trial ends, you are charged the plan’s full price that day, and the $1.99 is not credited against it.

Refunds and cancelling

Charges are not refunded, including the trial fee, a renewal you meant to cancel, and a 3- or 6-month plan cancelled early — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Billing, in one tap. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and your plan or trial stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. If a renewal payment fails we try it again, and if it still fails your plan ends — nothing in your account is deleted. If you dispute a charge with your bank, the subscription ends.

Fair use

Every plan is for one person’s own use, as much as they like. Our fair usage policy explains what happens under unusually heavy use, and it is part of these terms.

What you may not do

  • Use the service to break the law, or to harm, harass or deceive anyone.
  • Try to get around usage limits, rate limits, or the safety measures of the models we route to.
  • Share your account with other people, resell access to it, or script it.
  • Probe, scan, overload or attack the service or the people who use it.
  • Use it to make content that sexualises minors, or that infringes someone else’s rights.

Your content

What you write and upload stays yours, and so do the answers, pictures and clips made for you, as far as the law allows. You give us permission to store it and to send it to the models that answer you, only to provide the service to you. [Confirm with counsel: what each model provider may retain, and for how long.]

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, and for how you use what the service makes.

Answers from AI models

Answers, pictures and clips are made by third-party AI models. They can be wrong, out of date or incomplete, and they are not legal, medical or financial advice. Check anything important before you rely on it.

Third-party models and services

The models we route to are listed in the model picker in the app. When you use Auto we choose which one answers, and we may add, change or retire models at any time. A model you pick by hand answers as that model.

Otto 1 is our own model, built on GLM 5.3 Flash, an open-weights model, and served through Vercel AI Gateway.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings or from this page. Deletion takes effect after a 7-day grace period, during which you can keep your account instead; deleting it also stops your subscription renewing.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law stops us. A paid account suspended or closed this way is not refunded, unless the law requires otherwise — see the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Disclaimers

We provide the service “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors, or that any particular model will stay available.

Limitation of liability

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you by email at least [notice period] before the change takes effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then.
