Deleting your account
How to do it
Sign in, open Settings, and press Delete account at the bottom of the page. You will be asked to type the email address on the account, and then it is done — there is nothing to email us and nobody to phone.
It works the same way in the app and in a web browser. If you no longer have achat.ai installed, sign in here and delete it from this site.
What happens next
You are signed out straight away and your subscription stops renewing. Your account is deleted 7 days later. During those 7 days you can sign back in and press Keep my account on the notice at the top of the screen, and nothing will have been lost. After that it cannot be undone.
What is deleted
- Every chat and everything in it, including anything the assistant remembered.
- Every project and every instruction you gave one.
- Every file, picture and video you uploaded or made, including the stored files themselves.
- Any saved website sign-ins, and any mailbox you connected — the permission you gave us is withdrawn at the provider.
- Your settings, your sign-in codes, and your saved card at our payment processor.
What is kept, and why
Records that money moved — what was charged, when, for which plan, and any refund or chargeback against it — are kept. We are required to keep them for accounting and tax, and a payment cannot be disputed or refunded without them. Your name, your email address and everything else identifying you are removed from those records when the account goes; what is left is an internal reference number that does not point at a person.
Our payment processors keep their own records of transactions independently of us, for the same reasons and for as long as their own obligations require.
Your subscription
Asking to be deleted stops your subscription renewing straight away, and it is cancelled outright when the account goes, which ends your access. Time you have already paid for is not refunded — see the Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you want to use the time you have paid for, cancel in Settings → Billing instead: you keep access until the end of the period, and you can delete your account once it ends.
If you take the deletion back inside the 7 days, your subscription is still set to stop renewing — we do not turn it back on for you, because you may have cancelled it for your own reasons. Resume it from Billing whenever you like.
Deleting only part of it
You do not have to delete the whole account to remove things. A single chat, a single file and a single remembered fact can each be deleted on their own from inside the app, and a connected mailbox can be disconnected from Settings without touching anything else.
Nothing here limits any right you have to erasure under the data-protection law where you live.
